Thank You Communications Committee

Greetings:

I had a really busy, but fun, weekend and am now just reading all your emails.  It seems Reba and Silvia have answered most of your questions, but if I can contribute in any way don't hesitate to ask.

I have been in contact with my friend whose husband is a printer.  She will speak to him this week about printing the directory.  I gave her some of the criteria and there is one thing she told me he resists doing and that is using recycled paper.    He has had some bad experiences with it and is not likely to agree to use it...I don't think this is a deal breaker...do you?  How many points do we lose if we don't print on recycled paper?

Thanks for all your good work.

Pam

  1. Update - Great job to the communications committee for a great job with the New Year. I'm sure we will be in the running for a prize at District Conference for our submission.

Thank you President Pam for getting it printed and thank you for the printer for donating the printing!

  2. Plans for the District Conference are moving quickly. International President Donna Johnson will be there as well as Dave Butler from Camp Safe Haven. We are also hoping that Sally Richmond, the speaker from Area II Workshop will also speak to the Conferees.

This year we are reinstituting the golf outing. It will take place on Thursday afternoon, so start going to the driving range and getting your game up to par!

More to come later - District's Call to Conference will be coming out soon.
