Well, the Altrusa Family Blog seems to be up and running. Thank you to all who made it happen.
Someone working on member retention sent out an e-mail to the "seasoned" members asking the reasons why we stayed in Altrusa for so many years. In my case I mentioned the mission of Altrusa and Altrusans. The friends I have made over the years who made my time as a member worthwhile are probably the primary reason that I have stayed; but upon further thought, it's not just the mission of Altrusa but the passion of the membership for serving the community and for the belief that we are making a difference every day that energizes me.
Now, I believe that we are ready to introduce our blog to the membership.
